The two-piece strobe has a power pack and flash head, sporting a 12-foot cable length that satisfies the needs of most photographers. Sometimes you need more range, such as the head-mounted on a boom, the pack hidden well off the set, or unobtrusive in the commercial studio. Our solution is this Flashpoint EC1200 12′ Flash Head Extension Cord that adds a blessed 12′ flex cabling. Connects simply to XPLOR Power energy pack by locking thepronged cable link, toe and heel, and then inserting the head cord receiver matching 22 pin socket. The lightweight remote head is then benefiting from the 12′ extension between the strobe and remote flash tube, quickly enabling inaccessible, difficult to place precise lighting. Now you have 24′ of efficient XPLOR 1200ws flash power that operates at an effective GN of 168 at 100 ISO.
