The Flashpoint Swivel Umbrella Holder provides a pivoting link to securely join your monolight, Speedlight or strobe to a standard stud found on lightstands and clamps, with an umbrella. You can use this proven favorite accessory to connect and control the swivel and angle of both strobes and speedlights. The comfortable repositionable handle allows you to adjust the tooth-lock, spring-controlled swivel mount, to change the vertical angle of your light.
The umbrella bracket accepts all sizes of umbrellas up to 8mm shaft diameter, and allows you to fix the on axis umbrella at a distance from the light source which will give you optimal spread. The top stud is tightened with a large sliding T-handle and the bottom tightens onto the stand with a large knob. The sliding handle top screw allows you to tighten your light onto the bracket even if there is a minimal amount of space in which to work.
Two reversible 5/8″ threaded studs are included that offer a universal solution to gear connectivity. One is a 1/4″-20 female to 3/8″ female and the other is a 1/4″-20 male to 3/8″-16 male that can be screwed into a flash with a female tap.The two can be joined for devices that need a deep mate. A hole is provided on the male piece to aid in tightening and loosening the join.
