The Flashpoint Stud Adapter Set with Male and Female 1/4″-20 and 3/8″ options, are universally used adapter studs, or spigots, constructed entirely of coated hardened steel. The two part adapter consisting of a 5/8″ (16 mm) diameter 1/4″-20 – 3/8″ male stud and a 5/8″ (16 mm) diameter 1/4″-20 – 3/8″ female stud and, its counterpart, a stud with a 1/4″-20 female thread at one end and a 3/8″ female thread at the other end. The set can be used to convert a 1/4″-20 or 3/8″screw into a 5/8″ stud, to adapt light stands to different standard taps or screws and to extend the length of a stand top to secure long boom connectors. Aconvenient hole is bored through the male member in order to have leverage when the fit is too tight to disengage from the female stud.
